Who we are

Tanaisha has a Bachelor of Art in English and Communication Studies and a Master of Science in Organizational Development. She has pursued diversity, equity, inclusion, and social justice work since undergraduate school with co-founding a student-led diversity initiative to create a brave and safe space for students to explore their identities at a predominately white university. Also, as a student, she advocated for better resources to address diverse student needs. Tanaisha has continued this work over the past five years by facilitating small and large group engagements on diversity, equity, inclusion, and social justice.

  • HIV and AIDS Service-Learning Trip to Chicago, IL to learn about the stigma of HIV and AIDS and how the stigma affects the LGBTQIA+ community in the past and today.
